DESCRIPTION: little six map episode, variously inspired by Kuchitsu, Crumpets 2, Speed of Doom and Scythe X. I made a few new textures/gfx for this, and also wrote the midis. The whole wad was nearly finished in like april 2024 but it took me a long time to summon the energy to finish map06. Other influences that probably aren't detectable: bio menace, jason storm, raptor, blake stone, commander keen 1-3. This is also my first solo release since 2018!

PORTS:		99% tested in prboom-plus, seems to work in dsda-doom and eternity. seems to more or less work in gzdoom and zdoom too, albeit with the foibles that come with those ports. Does not work in chocolate or vanilla, sorry.

BUGS: 		some slimetrails. sky on 04 may occlude buildings sometimes. some walls on 06 may still eat rockets even though i tried to fix this. well, i don't care any more.

PERMISSIONS: 
- you may use the new textures, sprites and dehacked stuff in your own works, in fact please do!!!
- you may not use the levels themselves for anything. make your own levels.

RESOURCES:
- textures/gfx were taken from cc4tex, kuchitsu, scythe x, blake stone, duke3d, doom64, commander keen
- a number of texture edits were made by me, hooray. try using them in things.
- midis were all made by me, such as they are
- stbar, sky, interpic and new sprites were made by me, using existing things as a base

LEVEL INFORMATION
---------------------

01 -- A small attempt at the "crooked building encircled by crooked outdoor stuff" premise used a few times in CR2, and combined with the texturing approach of Kuchitsu of course (which rules. play kuchitsu). This whole wad is kind of my take on Kuchitsu, really. For this map I was attempting to do quite chilled out, low monster count gameplay, but it was tricky to avoid it feeling either monotonous or empty.

02 -- Still kinda inspired by kuchitsu texturally, but the geometry has kinda wandered off into a different style I guess. This was the first map to be drawn on paper and was quite fun to make, but possibly is a bit insubstantial as a finished map. Maybe some maps are just cute little locations you can walk around and look at, and that's okay. It's a dream home after all.

03 -- Inspired by Speed of Doom, kinda. I don't like this map much :D

04 -- Heavily inspired by Speed of Doom MAP04, which is one of my favorite maps ever. This is a reasonably good map, I think. The world needs more woobly techbases. Techbases that melted a bit cos they were left out in the sun. As with map06, tidying this layout up and filling it with stuff took a long time.

05 -- An inferior pastiche of Scythe X. Sorry, Erik. Also, finish scythe x already, cmon.

06 -- The previous 2 maps were very much pastiches of wads I like, but for this one I'm kind of just doing my own thing. Was drawn up pretty quickly to start with, but then it took me about a year to find the energy to fill it with stuff. It's similar to ww5 map02 in that it has a sort of loose, "make your own fun" approach to the gameplay, which I know a lot of people don't like, but I do, sorry :3

THE FUTURE: Lemoncholia may return, in new exciting adventures...
